Job Description

The Supervisor of Talent Acquisition supervises the activities to attract, screen, evaluate, and place candidates for open positions through recruiting website, employee referrals, on-site recruiting, and other sourcing methods. Ensures policies and procedures are followed and ensures positions are filled efficiently and effectively. Evaluates resumes/applications and participates in screening and interview processes. Reviews the work of Talent Acquisition Specialists and Talent Acquisition Coordinators and provides coaching. Facilitates all processes in the function and regularly gathers metrics to assess processes, performance and results.
Scope:
Reporting to the Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition, this role has a high degree of impact as it is directly responsible for managing a group responsible for acquiring and placing talent, which is the primary source of revenue for MAS. The decision-making performed by this role focuses on whom to hire and place in field roles. Assessing performance and determining appropriate actions to correct unproductive behaviors. The role also requires both leadership and influence without direct authority, in that they must align and motivate a talent acquisition team.
Responsibilities:
Partners with leadership to understand organizational hiring needs/strategies, client requirements, department strategy and processes to effectively drive results for assigned team members.
Regularly performs Talent Acquisition activities to maintain a strong understanding of talent acquisition process and can make recommendations to drive better outcomes.
Supervises daily work, oversees team activities and daily priorities. Manages others to include setting expectations, evaluating performance, coaching, counseling, and making recommendations around recognition, rewards, and other employment decisions.
Creates and provides onboarding training for new TA team members. Provides development and training to ensure that new team members are up to speed quickly.
In conjunction with Sr. Manager, helps define and implement new and existing processes and methodologies and uses them to provide ongoing training and development for existing team members.
Facilitates and tracks on-boarding/new hire checklists to ensure the transition from candidate to new employee creates a positive experience for all new hires.
Supervises full life-cycle recruitment processes from screening discussion through offer acceptance and first placement, while providing value-added guidance on all aspects of the hiring process to ensure the right talent is selected for the right role at the right time.
Enables team to meet department goals and metrics related to calls, screens/interviews, and hires.
Facilitates and participates in team round table discussions and contributes through recommendations and assigned action items.
Researches, evaluates, and recommends new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting. Through the course of routine supervision, consolidates information about each of the sources and recommends changes if necessary.
Manage candidate profiles and onboarding process in Bullhorn, with accuracy and in a timely manner, holds others accountable to processes and makes recommendations for improvements.
Maintains a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
Work on assigned project team(s) to support overall process improvements and innovative forward-thinking talent acquisition practices.
Identify trends and recommend process improvement opportunities to ensure effective and efficient process that minimizes waste and optimizes the hiring of top talent.
Assist with the development of interview tools and techniques.
Provide support to the Nurse Success CSRs for caregiver retention through monitoring and ensuring clean transitions.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years of Recruiting or Talent Acquisition experience
Proven track record of sourcing and landing candidates
High School Diploma, Bachelor' s degree in related field (preferred)
1+ years of supervisory experience and/or relevant informal influencing capabilities
1+ years experience with Healthcare recruiting
Experience with sourcing tools including Indeed, LinkedIn, Zip Recruiter, cold calling, Social Media, and Job Boards
Proficient In MS Office
Evidence of coaching and leadership abilities
Experience using an applicant tracking system (ATS) and managing requisitions and candidate workflow (preferred)
Ability to coach others to change behavior in a manner which improves results
Ability to analyze sourcing methods and determine their effectiveness relative to the positions and their geographical locations (preferred)
