The Role:
The Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Analyst plays a crucial role in driving financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, senior management, and key stakeholders to provide accurate financial insights and strategic recommendations. This position contributes to the financial success of our organization through effective financial planning and analysis.  This role includes financial modeling and analysis, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, board/executive/management reporting.

The FP&A Analyst position will work full-time onsite in our Manchester, NH headquarters.

As the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Analyst, you will:
  • Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
  • Conduct thorough financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data, ensure its accuracy, and provide insights for decision-making.
  • Support the development and maintenance of financial models and tools for budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analysis.
  • Identify and monitor key financial and operational performance indicators and prepare reports highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis to support strategic initiatives, cost optimization efforts, and investment evaluation; propose new analysis to address identified issues, trends, etc.
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations and reports for executive management and other stakeholders.
  • Help identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial planning and analysis activities.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes affecting financial planning and analysis.

In this position, you must have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 3-4 years of relevant experience in corporate finance, financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, or analysis (internship or co-op experience will be considered).
  • Solid understanding of financial statements, financial analysis, and key financial concepts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with financial planning and analysis software (e.g., NetSuite, Tableau) is a plus.
  • Any additional certifications or coursework in finance or accounting will be advantageous.
